The event
Google ABI-HACK 2025 was a 48-hour hackathon bringing together 480+ participants from 15+ African countries. Griot IA was the project my team built and shipped within that window.
The build
Under a hard 48-hour deadline, the work was about scoping ruthlessly: pick the one idea worth demonstrating, build a working AI-powered prototype around it, and make the demo land. Speed and clear priorities mattered more than completeness.
Result
Griot IA finished 2nd overall among 480+ participants, a result I'm proud of given the field and the constraints, and a reminder of how much a small team can ship when scope is honest.
